HISTORY
Negros Oriental Trade School (NOTS) was established on December 3, 1927 by virtue of Act No. 3377 of the Philippines Legislature. It was converted into East Visayan School of Arts and Trade (EVSAT) on June 16, 1956 by virtue of R.A. 1579. It was again converted into Central Visayas Polytechnic College (CVPC) in 1983. On June 25, 2004 by virtue of R.A. 9299, CVPC was converted into Negros Oriental State University (NORSU).
